Henry Mutschler

Born in Germany, raised in Switzerland, based in the UK for most of my adult life. I spent four years building products, leading a 12-person engineering and design team across three countries. Then I moved into investing: diligence and financial analysis on early-stage technology companies at my family's investment office. Today I'm an MBA candidate at INSEAD, split between the Fontainebleau and Singapore campuses, and a Venture Associate at Angel School VC, screening deals across the US and Asia for a syndicate of 1,500+ LPs. After graduation this December, I'm looking for a full-time investing role, venture, growth, or private equity, wherever I can keep doing diligence and put capital to work.

Outside of work, sport keeps me grounded: tennis, padel, squash, golf, football, whenever I get the chance. I've supported Hamburger SV and Arsenal FC since I was a kid, and I catch as many live games as I can. On weekends I coach a U15s football team in Switzerland, and I mentor MBA applicants at HackNation Venture Labs. When I'm not doing either, I'm usually a few chapters into a murder mystery. Right now I'm co-writing a research paper with an INSEAD professor on how Chelsea FC's financial statements keep them within Financial Fair Play rules, proof that even my hobbies come with a spreadsheet attached.
